A prominent pianist and composer, he was Alexandre Levy’s brother and the son of Henrique Luis Levy, Casa Levy’s founder. Alongside classical works for piano, he produced several pieces of salon music, at which time he adopted one of the pseudonyms: Luiz Henri, Yvu Leliz or Ziul Y Vel.
