Son of musicians, Camargo started his musical studies when he was 10 years old with Virgínio Dias, to whom he dedicated his first composition. He began to compose in a regular basis after the first Modern Art's Week, in 1922. He passed away after receiving the Gabriel Mistral Award from OEA, in Washington, as the best American continent composer. Birth: Brasil Tietê SP, 1/2/1907
