Benedito Lacerda

1903 - 1958

Great flutist, Benedito had an important role in the history of radio in Brazil. He commanded regional groups such as Gente do Morro and the Benedito Lacerda's Regional Ensemble. He was a very successful composer and among his works stand out the sambas Coitado do Edgar and Falta um Zero no Meu Ordenado. Birth: Brasil Macaé RJ, 13/3/1903
