Graduated in composition from UFMG, he began his musical studies at the Santa Cecília Musical Society in Sabará, where today he acts as a volunteer violin teacher, coordinator of the Chamber Orchestra and vice president of the entity. His work Quatro movimentos para violino solo was contemplated in the Funarte Award for Classical Composition in 2012.
