Composer, arranger and conductor, Cyro was a professor of orchestration at UNICAMP and conductor of the Sao Paulo Jazz Symphony Orchestra. Awarded twice with the Trophy Roquete Pinto, he also served as the orchestra director of the old Record Festivals. Called "Toscanini from MPB" by Concerto Magazine, his Concerto in D major was awarded by ABM in 1964.
