Waldemar Henrique

Pianist, maestro and composer of some of the most beautiful songs of the Brazilian lyrical repertoire such as Uirapuru. Waldemar Henrique is considered the most talented lyric composer of the North region of the country. He composed about 200 songs inspired by Amazonian folklore, indigenous legends and Northeastern and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. Birth: Brasil Belém PA, 15/2/1905
