Marcos Lucas

He studied with Guerra-Peixe and Ricardo Tacuchian, among others, and completed his PhD in Composition from the University of Manchester. His works have been performed in Europe and USA. Two operas stand out: O pescador e sua alma (2006) and Stefan and Lotte in paradise (2012). He is a professor at UNIRIO and director of the GNU group.
