Bruno Ruviaro is a composer and pianist from São Paulo, Brazil. Living in the United States since 2002, his acoustic and electronic compositions have been performed in several different countries. He completed a Master's Degree in ElectroAcoustic Music from Dartmouth College, and a DMA in Composition from Stanford University. In 2014 he published the book "A Gentle Introduction to SuperCollider", a step by step guide to music programming. Every Summer he teaches an intensive SuperCollider workshop at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. He is an Assistant Professor of Music at Santa Clara University, where he conducts research and teaches in the field of Composition and Electronic Music, and is the director of SCLOrk, the Santa Clara Laptop Orchestra. His compositions include instrumental and vocal music, electronic music, and choir music with electronics.
