Pianist, composer and musicologist, he studied with Souza Lima, Artur Hartmann and perfected his talent with Olivier Messiaen, in Paris. His work has more than 160 compositions. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Music and holds 10 prizes as a performer and 16 awards has a composer. He has performed more than 72 recordings, focused on Liszt's work and on his own compositions.
