Alexandre Lunsqui

He is graduated in composition from UNICAMP and later continued his studies at the University of Iowa, Columbia, and at the Institute de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique / Musique (IRCAM). His pieces had been presented in more than 20 countries. In 2010, he was awarded by the Fromm Foundation at Harvard University. In 2011 he composed Fibers, Yarn and Wire, requested and performed by the New York Philarmonic. In 2014, Lunsqui was resident composer of the Chelsea Music Festival of New York and artist in residence of the Citivella Ranieri Foundation, in Italy. He is now a composition professor in UNESP.
