Flavio began his musical education at the age of 15 with the accordion as his first instrument, and soon after, began his piano studies in Belo Horizonte. He was revealed in the 70s by the Clube da Esquina movement, along with names like Milton Nascimento, Beto Guedes and Lô Borges.
