The youngest amongst 14 brothers, he started studying classic guitar on his own when he was 18 years old. He later became a teacher at the Music Conservatory in João Pessoa, where he taught classical guitar and musical theory classes. In 1975 he moved to Rio de Janeiro where he participated in several major artistic events among which the play Gota d'Água by Chico Buarque. Birth: Brasil Taperoá PB, 23/1/1943
