Ernst Widmer

A Swiss-Brazilian composer, regent, pianist and professor. Beginning his studies in the Conservatory of Zurich and graduated with a degree in Piano and Composition in 1950. At the invitation of Hans-Joachim Koellreuter, he came to Brazil in 1956, where he moved to Salvador and acted as a professor at the School of Music of the Federal University in Bahia.
