Being self-learned, at the age of 10 he learned basically alone to play accordion, flute and saxophone, among others instruments. When he was 15 years old, Pascoal was already considered the best accordion player of the waste, although he didn't know to read music. In the following years, he played in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and also in other countries. He received many awards during his career, including the Prêmio Sharp of best musical arrangement and the Prêmio Ary Barroso, in 1996. Birth: Brasil Lagoa da Canoa AL, 22/6/1936
